'Doughnut' was one of the most instantly recog­nis­able stars of Chihuahua showing.  Winning her first CC and BOB in Puppy and made up to Champion at 13 months old, she went on to gain a total of 101 Challenge Certificates, making her the record holder, not only for Chi­hua­huas, but for all breeds of dog for many years, until her record was finally surpassed in 2022 by a Cocker Spaniel.

In a hugely successful show career under her owners and breeders Mr & Mrs Kevin and Shelda Hornby, 'Doughnut' was Best Bitch and CC winner for six con­sec­utive years at Crufts from 2001 to 2006, taking BOB in four of those years.  In Florida in 2005 she took on the best of American Chihuahuas and came away with BOB and Best Bred by Exhibitor.

Among many other achievements she won nine Toy groups, was placed in 19 more (twice at Crufts), BIS at 21 breed club shows and Reserve BIS at two all-breed shows.  Her achievements are unlikely to be bettered.
